Incredible car, great guy and amazing shop. Here’s what Chris from Overdosed had to say about his ride…


Auto excellente. Gars super et atelier fantastique. Voici ce que Chris d’Overdosed avait à dire au sujet de son véhicule : « À l’été 2010, après m’être défait de ma Civic EK ’96, j’ai décidé d’acheter une Nissan 240sx ’92 et de faire du drifting. J’ai donc acheté l’auto, me suis rendu sur la piste la première semaine après, puis BOOM!! Je suis entré dans le mur de l’Autodrome St‑Eustache après seulement mon sixième parcours. J’ai donc dû remettre tout en état. Je suis allé au seul endroit où je laisse les gens toucher à mes autos : AvFabrications (alias AvFAB); Av fait référence à Ardo Vanlian, qui est en affaire depuis longtemps et qui est actuellement chef mécanicien pour Dave Briggs, qui participera cette saison à la Formula Drift, ainsi qu’à DMCC Pro, au Canada. J’ai aussi eu l’aide de certains de mes merveilleux commanditaires, notamment STD Standard Suspension, BFGoodrich, Mishimoto et D‑Max, qui m’ont aidé à me procurer les pièces dont j’avais besoin pour reconstruire mon auto et reprendre la route en dedans de seulement deux semaines. Dès que j’ai eu l’auto, je suis retourné sur la piste plusieurs fois; cependant, j’ai vite remarqué qu’il restait encore plus de travail à faire sur l’auto pour que je puisse retourner sur le circuit. En mars 2011, j’ai trouvé un châssis S 13 ’93 à vendre déjà muni d’un DMCC Pro legal Roll Cage, je l’ai rapidement acheté et j’ai commencé à construire mon auto pour le drifting. Après six longs mois passés à travailler sur l’auto dans nos temps libres chez AvFAB, la S 13 était enfin prête. »

Here’s what Chris from Overdosed had to say about his ride: “In the summer of 2010, after parting out my ’96 Civic EK, I decided to purchase a 1992 Nissan 240sx and get into drifting. So, bought the car, went to the track the first week i got it, and BOOM!! Crashed into the wall at the Autodrome St-Eustache after only my sixth run. So, got the car all fixed up with the help of some awesome guys over at Autoworx which got the frame straightened out, and I then needed to get everything put back together, so i brought the car over to the only shop i’d ever let touch any of my cars, AvFabrications (a.k.a “AvFAB”), the “Av” standing for Ardo Vanlian which has been in the business for quite some time now, and is currently the head mechanic for Dave Briggs which will be competing in Formula Drift this coming season, as well as DMCC Pro in Canada. I also had some help from some of my awesome sponsors, including STD Standard Suspension, BFGoodrich, Mishimoto, & D-Max, which helped get me the parts needed to put the car back together and back on the road within only two weeks. As soon as i got the car back, hit up the track again a few times, however I quickly noticed that there was much work needed to be done to the car in order for me to be able to perform on the track. In March 2011, I found a ’93 S13 chassis for sale that all ready had a DMCC Pro legal Roll Cage in it, so I quickly made the purchase and started my drift car build. After almost 6 long months of working on the car in our spare time at AvFAB, the S13 was finally ready to be taken out.”
